Moreau

The merit of this catalogue is that it allows readers to discover the work of the Parisian painter-engraver Louis-Gabriel Moreau, known as MOREAU the Elder (1740-1806). The 100 plates testify to the artist's precision of line, as shown in his landscapes and views of Paris and its surroundings, including Neuilly, Saint-Cloud, and Vincennes— works sought after by art lovers since the 18th century.
