Pilon

Germain PILON (1537-1590) was "one of the greatest of French sculptors", as noted in this work, the second in the collection "L'Art français". The 121 works catalogued and reproduced are proof of the eclecticism of the artist, who worked in marble, stone and bronze, as well as in wood and clay. He was also influential in the design of currency of the period.
